10-02-08 Update from Lawrence Ng.

"Just met up with the Philips Installation and Training Engineer, a wonderful Han Chinese man Mr Yu, who was called on short notice from his Shanghai region to come specifically to help install the ICU equipment. Apparently the Chengdu engineer couldnt make it.

Went through the equipment with the pediatric head nurses this afternoon, and we are  planned for a training session in the adult CCU on Oct 4.

We are going through the equipment check list on Oct 4. We will have copies of the final agreed inventory so that we can make records of who is keeping what, what needs to be changed etc., so that we have what we need for the kids here in Lhasa."

09-23-08 Update

Pediatric renovation process...six units are being installed in the pediatrics ICU ward. Ten units are being installed in the cardiology department in two ICU rooms.
